Dino's mother is not at all happy to see him go off with Melody in her car. Iside confronts them, they argue, and then she decides to follow them to find out where they go.

Marcello is trying to impress Michele, with disastrous results. Then some uniformed men come to the door and Michele thinks he is finally free.

Aunt Clo is scheming to get Ugo and Nora back together. In the bridal workshop, Dino has designs for Nora's wedding dress ready to show her. Alexia's grandmother shows up unexpectedly and is very angry with her.

It is Michele's last night at the Nest (according to him), and he goes to say goodbye to some of the residents. Then he goes to dinner at his daughter's place so he can meet her new boyfriend.

Ugo lets his aunt know he has found a new job at a radio station. Roberto is madly trying to get the apartment ready so he and Nora can move in.

Eleonora surprises Michele at the computer, where he shouldn't be. He is sure he will be leaving the Nest very soon and starts packing.

Dino figures out why he never saw the earlier letter from Dubai. This time, he replies and he and Melody go to mail the letter in person. Iside is beside herself when she discovers that Dino has gone off with Melody.

Pasquale, who works for Michele, has managed to find some information favorable to Michele's case. Nicoletta finds out about the "night business" and asks Michele for some explanations.

Aunt Clo tells Ugo and Nora what she had been up to rather than being on her deathbed... A heated discussion ensues. Dino gets a registered letter, retrieved from the postman by Melody.

Michele is looking for a way to participate in the activities of the Nest. Iolda is the person he has to talk to about it.

Nora and Ugo are now officially divorced and plans for the future are being made. It also happens to be time for Ugo's aunt to come back from her trip abroad.

Michele finishes explaining what actually happened in prison. Later, his ex-wife and partner talk to Michele about the situation regarding the inquinamento (pollution) of the land the Nest is built on. Michele might have just the right know-how to be of help.

Ugo and Nora have very contrasting moods and intentions when they get to the courthouse for their divorce hearing.

At Iolde's birthday party, there are some unusual gifts for her. Michele, quite drunk, clarifies some misunderstandings about his time in prison.

As he leaves the hospital with his wife, Luigi talks about how his perspective changed having had an experience such as he did.
