Lojacono, Aragona, and DA Piras go back to the crime scene to have a better look at the victim's collection of glass balls. The DA and Lojacono exchange ideas about the murder, but then he and Aragona have to go back to the station house.

Luigi is trying to rest, but it's not easy with a roommate who talks, and the feelings of nausea he is experiencing. He thinks out loud about how different doctors say different things regarding a patient's health.

Moscati has to prove himself at the exam, to demonstrate whether he is just presumptuous or can back it up by knowing what to do with the patient before him. His friend Piromallo waits for him outside, meanwhile.

The reformatory director is clearly affected by what his inmates have written. Meanwhile, the magazine takes shape, involving getting it typed, collated, and stapled.

Renzo and Pamela make a bet as to whether Camilla will like her new sneakers. Gaetano questions Nic Bianco's driver in the presence of Camilla. Viola and Vittorio discuss their relationship.

The "burglary gone wrong" is in the news and is not reflecting well on the city of Naples. The commissioner has summoned Palma and Lojacono to talk about this and makes a surprising decision.

The operation seems to have gone well, but forty-eight hours have to go by before they can be 100% sure.

Giuseppe and Elena exchange a few words during the dance, but then he goes home to study. The next day, at the exam, his friend is having a hard time.

Reporters and photographers descend on the school, followed by the police. Camilla tells Gaetano her version of what happened, and the coroner shows up to give his first impression about the murder.

Di Nardo and Romano decide to check out the apartment across the street, without much hope of success. That evening, there is news on TV about the murder and both Lojacono and the district attorney tune in from their respective apartments.

It's time to go to the operating room. A priest arrives to give him an encouraging word, and Elena walks with him as far as she can. Luigi is still worried about his surgeon having jet lag.
