Inspector Berardi and Camilla discuss the case and what might happen in a trial. Camilla goes home to dinner but has to make up a story in a hurry.

The pizza party ends up just being Palma and Ottavia who make the best of it. Palma would like them to be on a first-name basis, but he is Ottavia's boss and she has trouble with that. He talks about dare del tu, which means addressing someone informally instead of dare del Lei, which implies addressing someone formally. It can still mean using someone's first name, but the pronouns (and conjugations) change.

Luigi realizes that the doctors have "pre-packaged" answers for the questions they get every day from patients There is s new patient sharing a room with Luigi. Peppe remembers everyone, but they don't remember him.

At the auditions for the TV show, one candidate is worse than the next and the producers are very worried. Alberto watches through the door and seems to have an idea.

Elena is at the fancy dinner, and is worried about Giuseppe, but at the same time, she is fascinated by the after-dinner entertainment. Giorgio is taking advantage of Giuseppe's absence. Meanwhile, Giuseppe is working against the clock, realizing that his patient, from one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods of Naples, has a terrible disease.

At the police station, Viola's father recounts his version of what happened the day of the murder. Later Gaetano and Camilla discuss the situation.

After working on the case together, the members of the team go home to deal with their personal lives. Not everyone is enthusiastic about going out for pizza with the chief.

After being left by the taxi driver, Giuseppe goes in search of the Esposito home. The taxi driver was right about the danger. Meanwhile, Giorgio shows up at the dinner and greets Elena and her father.

Luckily, Viola is out of danger. Her father is by her side at the hospital but Inspector Berardi needs to talk to her alone. Camilla and Viola's father have a conversation out in the hall, to give Berardi and Viola some privacy. A little later, Vittorio comes to see Viola, talking first with his teacher.

There's a press conference announcing the success of the investigation. Rather than singling out Lojacono and Aragona, Palma gives credit to his entire team, as well as to Dr. Piras.

Alberto goes home to share the news with his family. They're watching TV and ignore him, which tells him all he needs to know. The next day he goes to the RAI studios, where he finds a whole different world.

Giorgio is getting settled in his new office and gets an unexpected and unwelcome visitor. Giuseppe has a big evening ahead of him with Elena and her father, but he gets some news he has to take care of and is delayed.

Camilla goes to see Gaetano and brings him up to speed. They go to the hospital to see how Viola is doing. Allegra is there too, with her mother and Viola's father.

Lojacono and Aragona, with De Lucia's recounting, are able to reconstruct the murder. We then learn what was written in the letter the notary's wife sent to him.

Manzi is preparing the report cards in his own way. At school, he is teaching the kids about rhythm, and the principal comes in with some intriguing news.
