Francesca is in Rome and she looking for a way of getting to the Janiculum. She asks a guy, who gives her directions and tells her of some ways she could get there. At the end, they decide to get a coffee together.

Raffaele, a producer of extra virgin olive oil from Apulia, tells us about the ancient origins of his olive groves. Many of the trees are centuries old, some are even over a thousand years old, and continue to produce excellent oil.

In this video, Antonio speaks in more detail about Praia's Madonna of the Cave. He shows us the rock where the ship's captain set down the wooden statue in the 14th century and he shows us the room where the statue is now housed.

Milena is at the port of Maratea and she tells us about the beauty of that evocative place. The people of Maratea happily come here, even to just have a walk in the winter.

Lorenzo Jovanotti, famous Italian singer-songwriter, celebrates the 150th anniversary of Italy’s Unification, on March 17th, 2011. He delivers best wishes to all Italians, and sings "Fratelli d’Italia" [Brothers of Italy], the Italian national anthem, otherwise known as the "Inno di Mameli" [Hymn of Mameli].

Salvo Agria is a painter and according to him, art is the most liberating way of expressing oneself. He believes that a person doesn’t choose art, but that art chooses the person. He shows a painting that depicts three generations: a little girl, an adult woman, and an old woman.

Antonio is in Praia a Mare and talks to us about the cult of the Madonna della Grotta (Madonna of the Cave), patron saint of the city. The cult began in 1900, and every year in August the statue of the Madonna is carried in a procession, where many of the faithful take part.
