Renzo is playing soccer and wants to take the penalty kick. Virginia goes to meet her former husband's ex-wife and son. Gaetano and Bettina are spending their lunch hour together, but he seems a bit distracted.

Perhaps as an apology, Ugo makes some sketches for the wedding on ice. The wedding couple practices at the rink, but there is a visitor. Dino and Melody have a moment, but his mother may not be so thrilled about that.

Giovanni's patient is a bit off-balance and Orazio is very uncomfortable in her presence. His doctor's visit isn't much better.

Marino and Giuditta tell us how they ended up getting Covid, and what their symptoms were.

Eva, pretending to be originally from Athens, meets up with Cusimano, and they agree on terms. Later, she makes a visit to the group home. At the restaurant, the girls try to think of a way to save the home, but come up empty.

Parking is a problem in medieval hilltop towns and cities (especially those attractive to tourists), so one solution is to build an elevator to get from parking further down the hill, up to the center of town. But, you never know what you are going to find when excavating. In Assisi, they certainly hit the jackpot, right in the center of town: A roman domus.

Camilla goes to lunch at Virginia's house (quite a house) and they talk about Virginia's personal situation. Then there's a phone call.

Ugo has no interest in learning to ice skate, and Nora is not a big help. Back at the villa, Melody brings Dino some coffee as he works, and he asks her for a favor.

Orazio confides in his psychiatrist friend and confesses to his present feelings about his wife and women in general. They stop off to see a patient of Giovanni's.

Max explains some details of the heist he's planning, and Eva knows all the right questions to ask. Later, Eva discovers some curious "coincidences."

We're in Assisi, where, during some excavations, a domus was discovered. It's clear it belonged to a wealthy family because of the richness of the wall and floor decorations, and might even have been the home of the poet Propertius.

Camilla is happy to see her old classmate and they make plans to get together, but Camilla forgets about a promise she had made to Renzo.

The stickers Nora placed all around the arena paid off, at least from her point of view. Ugo isn't so sure. There's a new job for them, but Ugo is conflicted because he still has something to tell Nora.

Orazio had a bad night, and now he is having a bad day, from problems at the office to a strange visit to the doctor with Anna, to a postponed dinner date with a friend.

Eva has no choice but to meet up with Max. Her state of mind as she cycles through the narrow streets to the meeting might be described in Italian with the Italian adverb malincuore (with a heavy heart). Luckily she is not alone to face this challenge.
