Ferruccio, the kitchen hand, tells Dante about a conversation he overheard and this creates a little friction between Eva and Dante. Lorenzo hasn't been showing up for meals at the restaurant and Eva learns why.

Finally, Martino's disappearance becomes known to the townspeople. He is the subject of Don Julio's sermon, and is even mentioned in the Bari newspaper. Martino is absolutely galled by how he's described in the newspaper.

Eva pays a visit to Augusto, a friend and safe-cracking expert, while Lorenzo and Malù break up. Later, Eva and the ladies hold a planning session for their caper.

Peppino goes to see Martino and tells him the truth: that no one in town noticed he was gone. He then does Martino another favor, similar to smashing his cell phone.

Lorenzo is clearly having a rough time and would like to talk to his mom, but he often loses his courage. This time Eva keeps pushing and the conversation goes a bit further. Eva goes to see Negri in his office and of course, she keeps her eyes and ears wide open.

Martino is settling in Peppino's grandfather's house, trying to make it inhabitable. Peppino does something he thinks is essential for the cause, but Martino is devastated and tells him to leave.

Rosario comes to the restaurant, and everyone notices that she is a beautiful woman. She is skeptical about Dante's wish to settle down with a woman.

Peppino and Martino visit the old house of Peppino's late grandfather. The house is falling apart, but Martino thinks it's perfect for his plan. Peppino wonders if Martino is on drugs...

Eva wants to teach Negri a lesson and calls him to give her an estimate on some work at the restaurant. Later, at the market, Dante seems a bit absent. Eva then makes a discovery that illustrates how Italian can be ambiguous, where English is not.

Martino goes to Peppino's house to tell him his great idea. Peppino is kind of busy, though... The local priest spies Martino walking home and engages him in conversation, which is the last thing Martino wants.

Dante gets a great job offer, one he had been waiting for for years. Eva makes a visit to the hospital.

Martino goes back home and finds his mother in tears in front of the TV. He thinks it's about him. He goes to see Peppino and wakes him up to tell him about an idea he has had. Peppino is not alone.

Filippo has trouble sleeping, Lorenzo does, too, and shows up at home. Eva, on the other hand, gets an invitation to sleep elsewhere.

Martino and Peppino go to the Kursal, and as we could expect, finding Laura doesn't turn out so well. Martino has some hard thinking to do.

Filippo goes to the market with Eva and we discover what kind of kid he truly is. He also recognizes someone he knows. Back at the restaurant, Lorenzo and his mom have a little discussion.
