After Meg's confession, Gaetano and Camilla go to dinner to discuss the conclusion of the case. While talking, Gaetano asks Camilla something but at that moment she receives an emergency phone call from home and rushes off without answering.

Renzo is at home with Camilla and is very nervous about the competition, so he decides to go to bed while Camilla watches the news and discovers what happened to a famous art restorer.

Gaetano is at the villa where the victim was found. Camilla calls him with some interesting bits of news and they make plans to get together the next morning. Renzo and Livietta are both agitated and, according to Camilla, being a bit melodramatic.

Before class, the students in class are excited about the coming beauty contest and keep taking photos. Camilla is having trouble reaching Renzo and trouble with her car, too. Fortunately, Susy comes to her rescue.

Camilla and Susanna are at the marriage agency, when the school principal shows up, without an appointment, to see Dr. Tucci. But Berardi and Torre show up, as well.

Berardi and Torre ask Tucci for information about the victim's dating history, but the person with whom the woman had a date cannot be traced. Susanna admits to being in love with Nico, while Camilla is worried about Renzo.

A drama produced by RAI Cinema and Wildside follows the story of Giacomo, played by Fabio de Luigi, who searches for his dead father. He hopes to find his reincarnated father among the 800 million people born on earth since his father's passing.

Giacomo knows he should make peace with the fact that his father is gone, but he is troubled. He reads a book that motivates him to go and find the author — not an easy task.

Giacomo manages to speak with the scholar. When he gets back home, his family is waiting for him with a proposal.

Mario has all kinds of financial problems, and when Giacomo comes after him, Mario thinks that he's been sent by one of his many creditors.

Giacomo and Mario become acquainted in the back of Giacomo's chauffeur-driven car, but Mario is puzzled, and worried, about the talk of reincarnation. His other worries involve creditors.

Mario goes to visit Giacomo at home and his eyes light up. Giacomo is very happy about the visit, but his mother, a bit less.

Mario can hardly believe his eyes. He has ended up in the home of a naive millionaire who's a perfect subject for being conned.

Giacomo reveals his "discovery" to his family. He tells Mario about the girl he likes. Mario manages to leave with a nice check, signed by Giacomo.

Mario is repaying some debts and buying presents for his family, but his efforts go unappreciated. Giacomo's family is becoming alarmed at how much money he is spending, and decides to do something about it.
