The final segment of this tour of Umbria and Tuscany brings to the walls of Pisa and its famous schools of higher learning. As usual, Alberto Angela gives us some insight into how and why things happened as they did, as Pisa developed into one of the most beautiful and important cities in Italy.

Ugo seems to have a mysterious mission. Nora sees to Matì, whose dress is done and gorgeous. Ugo takes Francesco to choose an engagement ring.

Ada and Pio go dancing, but when they get back to her place, they get an unexpected interruption. A bit later, Ada innocently reveals some new elements to the case, and Luca comes back to life from his doldrums.

This new episode begins with a botched order at the restaurant and a curious conversation between two customers, which Andreina is overhearing, or rather, eavesdropping on.

The fresco depicting the Last Judgement is almost like a photograph of the Middle Ages. Alberto Angela shows us where the sinners ended up and what happened to them in Hell.

They go to dinner with Francesco and Matì and gently encourage the couple to think hard about what they want. It's natural for memories to come bubbling up from when they were courting.

Nino La Martina is questioned by Luca. Toscani and Lara's injuries are being taken care of, but Luca offers to take Lara to the emergency room. She has another suggestion to make.

In addition to the girls chatting with the chief of police as he has his lunch, there is a moment outside with Dante and Lorenzo.

We're still at the Camposanto in Pisa. Alberto Angela shows us a wonderful fresco of the Last Judgment, and tells us the story of the artist as well as what is depicted.

Guia gives Mara some advice. Meanwhile, there are three very unhappy men in the piazza. Pino finds something he had been looking for and Toni turns out to be pretty mature for his age, at least compared to his dad.

As we might have imagined, the tensions between the parents have been transferred onto the future bride and groom. Choosing the location, the favors, and the music has become a battle. Who knows if they can get over these hurdles.

Manara's team goes to the hunters' bar to find Nino La Martina and have some lunch at the same time, perhaps. There was perhaps a bit more action than they were prepared for, but, of course, that goes with the job.

Eva and Lorenzo have a civil conversation at breakfast. Later on, we find the commissioner dining at the restaurant and Gina thinks he might be the mysterious Catullus. The subject gets changed by an important phone call for the commissioner (in French) about counterfeit money from across the French border!

Daniela gives us some more examples of gerunds used in subordinate clauses. Asking ourselves what questions the gerund answers can help us understand its role in a sentence.

Alberto Angela takes us through what is actually a gallery of ancient art inside this cemetery, and focuses on the sarcophagi, each with its story to tell.
