Commissioner Berardi investigates the disappearance of Mrs. Torrielli and, during an inspection, interrogates the widower Ventruti. In an informal setting, over coffee, an important detail emerges: Flora's new address.

Anna is worried about Quantunque and asks Camilla to accompany her to his house to understand how he is, since he didn't come to the restaurant. Meanwhile, Torre and Piccolo enter Torrielli's apartment, finding it completely turned upside down: no clear clues emerge, except for elements that suggest an ambiguous professionalism.

Anna and Camilla enter Quantunque's apartment to understand why he hasn't been to the restaurant anymore; the only suspicious element is a suitcase locked with a combination. Meanwhile, at home, Renzo appears more serene after talking with his mother-in-law and attempts a reconciliation by preparing dinner.

Gaetano notices that Camilla is more serene and she confides in him that Renzo, too, finally seems to have calmed down. However, the peace is shattered when Ventruti reaches the commissioner to get confirmation about the identity of the woman found dead. Devastated, the man lets all his pain emerge and reveals details that could prove crucial for the investigation.

Camilla finds herself involved in the difficult situation of one of her former students, obsessed with Quantunque, who has mysteriously disappeared and whom she wants to help at any cost. Between enigmatic messages and a photograph that has resurfaced from the past, the investigations proceed amid suspicions and uncertainties, without yet a real breakthrough.

Gaetano and Roberta argue heatedly about the wedding preparations and family responsibilities; the argument angers Roberta, who decides to leave. Meanwhile, Camilla asks Gaetano for help and, thanks to a photograph, a young man is connected to the woman found murdered. For this reason, Gaetano wants to speak with Anna to get more information and deepen the investigation.

Camilla needs to speak to Anna and phones her, only to find out that Anna had just forced the briefcase open at Quantuque's place. Meanwhile, the investigators interrogate a witness who points to a possible suspect.

Gaetano and Roberta go through a story made of everyday life and tension, in which arguments and reconciliations follow one another. Meanwhile Camilla discusses with Anna the suspicion that Quantunque might be involved in shady business.

When Gaetano realizes that the briefcase found by Anna and Camilla has mysteriously disappeared, the commissioner becomes furiously angry. During the investigation, it emerges from Mr. Ventruti that Quantunque knew Flora and was protecting her.

Ventruti recounts that at a certain point, Flora had lost her sunny outlook. He also mentions the name of a man with a criminal record. Meanwhile, at school, a student protest breaks out against a dress code, which leads to the granting of an assembly to discuss it.

Camilla had clearly forgotten about Livietta's judo match, and gets a text message from Renzo urging her to hurry there. Luckily she arrives there in time to see her daughter compete.

After the match, Renzo, Camilla, and Gaetano try to encourage sportsmanship between Livietta and Nino. Gaetano introduces Roberta to Renzo, alluding to a possible collaboration between Roberta's parents and Renzo. The tension is palpable.

Camilla encourages Renzo, telling him that he will make an excellent impression with Roberta's parents, who seem very demanding, and confirms her confidence in the quality of the project he will present. Gaetano and Roberta also face doubts and small insecurities, showing the need to receive mutual reassurances.

Torre and Piccolo arrest Alfredo Brachetti, suspected in the murder of Flora Torrielli. He denies everything and presents an alibi, but the agents remain suspicious and look for connections with other characters.
