Torre, Berardi, and Ferrari go to the farmhouse where they find some evidence relative to the murder. Camilla admits to her mother that she is a bit jealous of Renzo being out to dinner again.

Michele is painting and doesn't want to stop, even to eat, until he has finished. He is also having nightmares. The Marquise pays an unusual visit.

Poor Max is called on to talk about the Iliad. Whatever he doesn't know, Gian Maria does know and raises his hand constantly.
