Imma is back in the office when she gets an unexpected visitor.

Some evidence has been burned in what appears to be a gas leak, and Imma is very concerned for her case against Romaniello. She goes back to her office to fight back when she has two different visitors, one more welcome than the other.

Imma meets her colleagues at the crime scene and recognizes the victim. The marshal of the Pisticci Carabinieri also knew the young woman who apparently had taken her own life.

Imma is offering her condolences to the parents of the victim, while gently questioning them. At the same time, she thinks back to a conversation she had had with Donata.

Grandma and granddaughter prepare a traditional dish from Basilicata, called la ciambotta, a kind of stew with vegetables, and sometimes meat. Valentina serves it to her parents that evening. The next day, Imma and Diana talk about the parliamentarian, Lombardi.

Imma talks to the proprietor of the restaurant where Donata was to try out as a waitress. She also has a more fruitful conversation with an employee. Later on, she takes her mother to the eye doctor, where she gets somewhat of a jolt.

Imma takes her mother to the eye doctor and by chance absorbs some new information about her past. She talks about the Romaniello case with Vitali and lets him know she will be gone for a couple of days.

Imma has decided to go to Rome on her own dime to try to talk to Lombardi. Pietro isn't convinced about her motivation. The bus trip isn't very comfortable.

Imma arrives in Rome and gets on a motor scooter for the first time. She and Calogiuri discuss the murder case and then Imma goes to talk to Lombardi.

Imma manages to exchange a few words with Congressman Lombardi as he waits to go and vote in the Chamber. She lets him know that Donata's death might not be a suicide.

After speaking with Lombardi, Imma meets up with Calogiuri again to discuss things and he gives her an update on his social media encounter with Lolita. Pietro goes to a sax lesson at the home of his teacher.

Imma and Calogiuri are enjoying dinner together, but the conversation is a bit awkward. A guy comes by selling roses, creating yet another awkward moment.

Imma goes to Cinecittà to find Lolita. They manage to have a conversation about Donata Miulli, the victim.

Imma manages to get a good amount of information from Lolita about Donata's relationship with Lombardi.

Diana receives some news about Donata that is in contrast to the medical examiner's report. Imma is driven to a small town where she hopes to talk with a certain Nunziatina.

Imma goes to talk to the clairvoyant to get confirmation about the 5th of March. Later, the missing recorder shows up with some shocking audio.

Back in Rome, Imma has a discussion with Vitali who scolds her for her unorthodox methods. At home, she has a heated discussion with her daughter about school.

Imma checks Valentina's computer, although Pietro is not in favor of it. At the office, Diana has come up with some very interesting documents.

Imma goes to a televised political debate Lombardi is participating in. On a break, she goes to his dressing room to question him further about the new information she has in hand.

Imma manages to talk to Donata's mother to find out what had really happened between her and Lombardi so many years before.

After Valentina's latest cooking video, she has a video call with a young viewer who suggests a local cooking class. Pietro has a conversation with his sax teacher. Imma has an unexpected visitor as she is having something to drink in piazza.

Imma and Calogiuri go to see Lombardi at his home. They clarify a lot of things and are able to fill in some holes in the story of the case.

After some frustrating and bizarre moments, Imma manages to interview Counselor Zakary and learns some new facts.

Zakary goes into more detail about his encounter with Donata. Imma starts getting suspicious about some of what Zakary describes and has a flash of realization. She sends Diana away and has some questions for Calogiuri.
