Monopoly, the board game invented in the US in 1903, is used to explain monetary policies and Italy's current financial woes.

The segment concentrates on the richness of the Sicilian dialect, a dialect which is less and less spoken. The narrator interviews two poets who recite their works in Sicilian, providing insights into the language.

In this segment, we see a flashback to Iolanda's murder. She was an honest woman through and through. And it looks like Manara confirms his resignation, now that the case has been solved.

What would the police do without Lara's aunt Caterina? She knows just where to look to get precious information about the case.

Saint Rosalia (1130–1166), recognized by her crown of roses, is Palermo's patron saint. The video shows the July 14 parade in honor of the saint, and a young man who credits his cure from a grave illness to Saint Rosalia.

Luca's mind is going full speed ahead, and this leads him to invite Lara and her aunt to the movies. The outing ends up revealing an extremely delicate and awkward situation, but an important one for the case.

Pitrè's mission was to conserve and safeguard the traditions of his people, the Sicilians, and to keep the roots alive. Looking at religious traditions is one important way to do this.

Luca is about to pack his bags, but there are still some suspects to question. And Lara has some questions for Luca, too.

On this last day of Luca's service, everyone is working hard to get to the core of the case.

This segment focuses on an actor who retells and acts out stories from Sicily's past, speaking in Sicilian dialect. He uses the Pitrè Museum as a source for material. The museum houses a manuscript with over 4,000 Sicilian proverbs, just one of the many volumes of Sicilian ethnographic material.

This episode has been full of equivoci (misunderstandings, mix-ups), and this final segment is no exception. But we haven't seen the last of Manara!

Pitrè's life was marked by a sort of travelling storyteller tradition in his family. In those days, a cuntastorie (storyteller) would go around to all the piazzas and tell stories, and people would pay to hear them.

Two important mysteries get solved in this episode.

In this segment, we see some swordfish harpoon fishing, and hear an old Sicilian legend about a boy named Nicola who could stay underwater for a very long time.

The alternative tourism video starts by showing some of Rome's iconic sites, but will focus on less well-known quarters, such as the Salario-Trieste neighborhood in north Rome.

Ape actually means "bee," and this Ape is a tiny three-wheeled, low-horsepowered mini-pickup truck, very popular in agricultural environments throughout Italy, made by Piaggio. You don't need the same license as for driving a car because it doesn't go very fast at all. But the vehicle works hard and is usually as busy as a bee.

We're all curious to see what Ginevra and Lara have to say to each other when they meet. Meanwhile, Marco Rovetti is nowhere to be found.
