Paolo is so absorbed in his career that constant bickering arises at home. On television, his character Fracchia decides to ask for a raise that he rightfully deserves, but the meeting with the director turns into a decidedly embarrassing scene.

Everyone follows Paolo on television and is struck by his skill. At dawn, however, while resting in his hotel room, he is awakened by a phone call from Faber who tells him bad news.

Rosario chooses to avoid the encounter with his mother, so he makes up an excuse and returns to class. Meanwhile, in the lesson, Marioni puts Sara to the test, but she is determined not to give up.

While Paolo prepares to go on stage, he is approached by a well-known television writer who presents him with an interesting proposal, assuring him that Maurizio Costanzo is also in favor. Back in Genoa, Paolo rushes to look for the children, but discovers they are at the carnival rides.

Matteo and his classmates, during the break, get together to cheer for Sara in the hope that she manages to convince Marioni to let her play with them. Rosario, on the other hand, is agitated and this doesn't escape either the boys or his teacher.

In class, Barbara proves to be much further ahead than her classmates in the curriculum; for this reason the teacher decides to assign double the homework to all students. Meanwhile, Sara continues her battle, trying to convince Marioni to give her the chance to play.

Paolo is worried about the future and dissatisfied with his job at Cosider. Maura is by his side and together they decide to go to Rome to understand how things will evolve.

Irene becomes furious with Luca when she discovers that he is obsessively following and controlling Marco, while she takes refuge in a fictitious identity to distract herself from her own thoughts. Meanwhile, Barbara arrives at the new school and Sara makes a request with a determined tone.

Paolo briefly improvises to announce Jannacci's absence and, between jokes and banter, gets a surprisingly positive response from the audience. After saying goodbye to Chiesa, he is approached by a well-known figure who makes him a proposal.

Barbara and her mother appear decidedly more serene, and the girl seems ready to start over. Meanwhile, at Rosario's house, his parents try to reassure him in anticipation of the meeting with his mother.

Doctor Vitali is standing next to Imma and her husband's small terrace and doesn't miss the opportunity to tell her what he thinks of her before everyone enjoys the party.

Imma rushes to join her husband and daughter on the small terrace to watch the Bruna festival, and at that moment she receives a confirmation message. Meanwhile, Valentina goes to greet Samuel who confesses a secret.

The day of the Bruna festival has arrived, but Imma and Calogiuri are finishing up their work. Once finished, Calogiuri expresses to Imma everything he thinks and feels, much to Imma's surprise, who thought he was a man of few words.

Imma summarizes with Calogiuri how things went regarding Don Mariano's death and, reconstructing the events, decides to send some notices to those involved.

Imma receives a package containing Don Mariano's tablet. The note accompanying it says that inside are all the evidence that Don Mariano had collected. The sender is overcome with guilt and when Calogiuri reaches him, it's already too late.
