New captains, absences, and tensions liven up the competition. The four desserts are being judged, deciding who will go on to the finals. Afterward, the JAMS make a video for Joy to share the results with her.

Alice and her friends know that something serious has happened to Joy, but their parents have only told them to be patient and that their friend will return soon.

The finals are approaching and Alice, Stefano, and Max record a video of the recipe they have chosen as an appetizer to send to Joy. The JAMS don't want Joy to feel alone and wonder what point there is of participating in the final competition without their friend.

The JAMS are a group of four and without Joy the finales make no sense. Alice, Stefano, and Max go to visit Joy to show her just how important their friendship is and to let her taste the cake they made.

The JAMS arrive at school in a rush, where the awards ceremony is already underway. Chef Borghese has just awarded the trophy but asks the winners if they would rather win by challenging the JAMS. Oscar, as captain, decides to continue the competition and they begin.

Chef Borghese begins to judge the dishes of the two teams, JAMS and The Best. It's a close contest and the kids are very nervous.

This crime story is set in the city of Matera in the Basilicata region, where Immacolata (Imma) Tataranni is the deputy prosecutor. She's on vacation at the beach when she finds something odd in the water.

Imma tells her husband about the finger she saw, but he seems skeptical. She is none too happy about her daughter's bathing suit, and also gives the barman a hard time.

Imma goes back to the office, stopping to chat with the cleaning lady as she makes her way upstairs. She meets the new chief prosecutor.

Calogiuri and Imma go to the site, where they are making a movie, to see if there is anything to be learned. Calogiuri gets noticed by the director because of his good looks. Could he make it as actor?

We get a glimpse of Imma as a parent. She is not so convinced about the value of cellphones. And she doesn't get along so well with her mother-in-law, either.

Calogiuri goes to talk to Imma at the beach. His presence doesn't go unnoticed to the young girls. Imma goes to see the new chief prosecutor.

Imma and Calogiuri go to the water park where they talk to the coroner. Calogiuri proves to be pretty smart and earns some praise from Imma.

Imma and Calogiuri go to see a woman who had her finger cut off. Calogiuri offers to take Imma back to Metaponto.
