Gaetano asks Camilla how she figured out that Sabrina was Taviani's lover and congratulates her on her skill. As they decide to go to lunch together, a phone call arrives from Roberta, who wants to make peace with Gaetano. Meanwhile, at home, Renzo gets lost in an unusual conversation and prepares a disastrous dinner.

Romano stays in the hospital to monitor the condition of the newborn he had found by the dumpster. During the visit, the doctor asks him to choose a name for the little girl. Meanwhile, Pisanelli goes to see Don Salvatore, who asked to meet with him.

Sabrina tells the story of her encounter with Matilde and explains about the diary. Appropriate arrests are carried out. In front of the school, Berardi comes to apologize to Susy, while the principal is waiting to take her out to lunch.

It's almost midnight, and everyone goes out on the terrace to drink a toast and enjoy the fireworks while Pisanelli remains alone inside. His attention is caught by something on the TV screen.

Roberta, annoyed by Gaetano's behavior and the presence of the boy, decides to go home. Meanwhile, Camilla and Susy ask one of the students to trace the address from which Tucci sent the email, while Gaetano and the team listen to a wiretap and then head out to the source of the call.

Everyone is gathered to bring in the New Year, when, amid the exchanging of greetings, the police commissioner makes his entrance, surprising everyone with an unexpected announcement.

Gaetano returns to the police station with the kids. Meanwhile, Torre has carried out some checks on Tucci's secretary. Camilla shows up to pick up Livietta and share with her the sad news about Zuccotto.

Lojacono immediately goes to Laura's house, where she confides in him that she finally feels ready to take the risk and start a relationship with him, if he wants it too.
