In class, the students get a homework assignment. But all the kids are focused on the cooking contest where they will have to make rice balls, called arancini.

Michele and his friends get involved in some street fighting. One of the Tomassonis gets wounded and Michele and company flee the scene.

At the police station, Martina and Camilla have to show some ID to be photocopied. Berardi calls and Camilla goes and talks to him, right down the hall. At home, Renzo is on his way out for a "work" dinner.

Imma has decided to go to Rome on her own dime to try to talk to Lombardi. Pietro isn't convinced about her motivation. The bus trip isn't very comfortable.

Marco has lunch with his father who thinks he needs a better job and wants to help. Lojacono makes a phone call as a result of his talk with Marinella. At police headquarters, the team is talking about asking Giacomo Scognamiglio to come in again.

The first place we visit is practically a theater on a mountain, designed and built to replicate places with religious significance in the Holy Land. The mountain, aptly named, is Sacro Monte (sacred or holy mountain) and is located in Piemonte, to the northwest of Milan.

Over breakfast, Riccardo and Eleonora discuss some environmental test results they are expecting, but are interrupted by Chiara and have to fudge. They also get some other worrisome news from Nicoletta.

Riccardo, the priest, is having a hard time. His mother is trying to help him in her way. Barbieri keeps bothering Giusi. The patient who seems to think he is a doctor gives Luigi some news.

Marika discusses two final expressions linked to the nautical world. One of the two is more of an Italian proverb, and a very important one.

Ugo's ruse seems to be working. Nora comes back, she is loving, and she breaks things off with Roberto. What could possibly go wrong? Melody and Dino have a conversation about Manrico.

After a recap of the previous episode, Alice goes on to tell us about how euphoric and invincible the members of JAMS felt after the concert and after winning the cooking contest. But she hints at something more sinister.

Filide has some news for Michele that he is not going to like. After he receives the bad news, Michele goes out and gets into trouble, as he is wont to do.

Martina is stalling and Camilla pries out the truth from her. They do eventually end up at the police station. Berardi and De Santis seem to agree for once, on some aspects of the crime they are investigating.

Imma takes her mother to the eye doctor and by chance absorbs some new information about her past. She talks about the Romaniello case with Vitali and lets him know she will be gone for a couple of days.

Lojacono and Marinella have a frank conversation about the past. Palma talks to his superior about the case, to let him know that the Scognamiglio son is a suspect.
