You won't want to miss the authentic and lively fish market in Catania, nor Brucoli, a fishing village nearby, with its grottoes and castle.

Augusta is a port city on the eastern coast of Sicily. There are two ancient fortresses and a tower built to defend it in the sixteenth century, and later on, it became a base for dirigibles and seaplanes during World War II.

Augusta is famous for the castle where Frederick II had his court in the thirteenth century. Every year in September, there is a medieval festival recreating the court, with authentic food, costumes and dancing.

Visit beautiful Syracuse and the island of Ortygia, the ancient part of the city, with its unique panoramas and rich history of Greek theater.

This fascinating segment is about rivers, aqueducts, caves, and perhaps the dwellings of the earliest prehistoric man.

Signor Venturi is enjoying some intimate time with a lady when the police show up with a search warrant.

Signor Venturi is taken to il Nido (the Nest). Although he is glad to see a familiar face upon arrival, he is not quite ready for what awaits him.

Nicoletta shows Michele around but he is less than impressed. His attitude and reputation aren't going to be much help to him when they vote him in or out that evening. Michele's lawyer comes to see him.

Michele goes to see his daughter in her quarters. He then goes around trying to assure some positive votes for the evening assembly.

Unexpectedly, just about everyone shows up for the assembly, where there is to be a vote to Michele as part of the group or not.

The assembly takes place and everyone votes. Then there are discussions about other matters. Michele goes back to his room where he gets a visit.

Over breakfast, Riccardo and Eleonora discuss some environmental test results they are expecting, but are interrupted by Chiara and have to fudge. They also get some other worrisome news from Nicoletta.

Martina and Giovanni invite Chiara to stay strong, and it seems it regards her father. Michele is trying to relax when Iolde shows up with her water and vinegar drink.
