Lojacono and Laura are discussing the case at the crime scene when they discover someone listening to them. This adds a new element to the investigation. As they are leaving the building, they run into the former door person, Rosetta, who is curious about the case. Back at headquarters, Ottavia does some research and Pisanelli's memory is jogged about an old case.

The photo of the dead girl reminds Lojacono and Aragona of the statuette they had seen in Marino's shop and Lojacono goes there to have a little chat with the man.

Mario tells, in detail, what he did. The DA has a few more questions, but then this chapter of the case comes to a close.

Lojacono says goodbye to Marinella, who is going back to be with her mother. They make some promises to each other. Pisanelli is watching a building where he suspects something will happen. Aragona is in his hotel room and gets a pleasant surprise.

As the team shows up at headquarters for a new day of work, a frantic phone call comes in about a boy found dead. Lojacono and Di Nardo head off to the address provided, to assess the situation.

Lojacono discovers a second dead body at the scene of the crime. The coroner arrives and Lojacono and the DA go to talk to the kid who discovered the body.

Lojacono and the others are at the scene of the crime trying to figure out how the murders happened. Back at headquarters, Palma receives more information about the family of the two victims. Later, Lojacono runs into Chanel on the street.

When Lojacono gets home, he gets a video call from Marinella who has heard about the murder and is upset. The next day, Lojacono and Di Nardo go looking for Grazia's boyfriend at his workplace, hoping to get some useful information.

Lojacono and Alex are able to interview Nick, who seems overcome with grief about his girlfriend's death.

Lojacono and his team go to talk to Grazia's agent, Mr. Cava. He provides some interesting information about Grazia. Ottavia goes home and tries to broach the subject of getting a dog for Riccardo.

Lojacono asks Laura to go with him to question Nick again. They want to know why he hadn't told them about Grazia being a model.

From the results of the autopsy, there are no signs of rape, indicating that the scene was staged. Lojacono and Alex go to talk to Biagio's ex-girlfriend.

Alex's father isn't happy, but she manages to go out for the evening, to have pizza with Rosaria. Francesco is home watching TV, and doesn't seem happy.

Alex and Lojacono go to see Biagio's friend and colleague, Renato, and Renato's father, who had been Biagio's professor. Palma talks to his superiors, who want to get involved in the case to speed things along.

Palma and the team have just forty-eight hours to find Varicchio, the father of the two victims. Meanwhile, Palma has to buy furniture, Lojacono meets up with the DA, and Alex comes home late to an angry father.
