Imma interviews Manolo and learns some interesting new facts. Then she interviews the person Manolo mentioned, someone she has encountered before. This second interview is trickier, and Imma has a hard time.

Marshal La Macchia reports his findings to Imma. Later, she goes to see Father Mariani to discuss an old case that has come to mind.

Father Mariani is not much help to Imma, but tells her to be careful. When she gets home, she gets a taste of what he meant, but is not deterred. Imma seems to be of the opinion that "when the going gets tough, the tough get going."

Antonio Palma has been summoned by Imma, and has been accompanied by Rosario Festa, Nunzio's father. She has some specific questions to ask Mr. Palma, but first has a conversation with Rosario Festa. Later on, she discusses all this with Calogiuri over coffee.

Milena tells Imma about her pregnancy and about how Nunzio reacted to it. They also talk about Nunzios's relationship with his father. Imma and Calogiuri go out to the Festa place to talk to Rosario.

Imma has a difficult but necessary conversation with Rosario there, on his land, with the wind turbines whirring in the background.

Fulvio and Fabia take turns reading an extract from the book, Crimine infinito (Infinite Crime). The novel is based on the true story of a soccer player who gets involved in the 'Ndrangheta, the Calabrian organized crime syndicate.

Now that Imma has solved the case, she can think about other things. She talks to Diana on the phone, and then insists that Valentina go somewhere with her in the car.

We're at a police station, where the printer is acting up and a phone call comes in from a patrol car. We also hear what happens after the soccer game when the president of the Teramo Calcio comes to congratulate the team.

Inspector Barreca gets to where the Italo-Australian has been stopped and fiddles with something without being seen. In the locker room of the stadium, Del Vento enjoys his victory shower, a moment he always looks forward to. Then he sets out towards Calabria to visit some relatives.

Detective Lojacono is transferred to a police station that is considered to be the worst of the worst. Judging from his first encounter there, it seems he has his work cut out for him.

Detective Lojacono meets his team and learns why they talk about the "bastards." He also learns what the future holds for the police station.

Special agent Aragona read the files on all his colleagues and relates his findings to Lojacono. And we find out what Lojacono did, too. We also discover where he has his meals.

At the police station, Lojacono takes a phone call about a homicide. The team has been instructed expressly not to take on anything other than ordinary business. This is decidedly not ordinary business, but Lojacono is no ordinary policeman, apparently.
