She introduces herself to the woman who placed it on the gravesite and tries to find out a little more about Stella's life. She is also drawn to the ossuary or wall burial site bearing the name, Centino Latronico. We recall him as the man Imma suspects might have been her real father.

The case has been solved, one gets the feeling that if the murderer had been Varricchio, a common ex-convict, instead of a promising biologist, son of a prominent professor, the outcome would have been more palatable to the city and to the press.
