Imma asks a favor of a friend even though the case is no longer hers. Pietro returns home and Valentina is on cloud nine. Imma, on the other hand, continues to scold her husband about what he can't do due to his convalescence.

When the cemetery caretaker accompanies Imma to Don Mariano's grave, he reveals that he saw Iannuzzi visiting it after the funeral. Attorney Latronico stops by to greet Imma and gives her some unexpected news.

In a moment of intimacy, Pietro confesses to Imma that he had been afraid of losing her before telling her how much he loved her. When Imma is alone out eating lupini beans, someone approaches her.

The lawyer handling Diana's divorce case on her husband's side asks Imma some questions. Later, in the office, Diana is in full crisis mode.

Valentina says she hasn't forgiven Samuel yet but seems happy to spend time with him. Samuel receives an unexpected phone call that leaves him dumbfounded. Meanwhile, Iannuzzi, in prison, seeks reassurance.

Pietro's mother seems to be very satisfied with Ilona's abilities, but she has trouble figuring out what the woman did before. While the family is gathered, Calogiuri calls Imma for an emergency.

Vitali appears before the judge requesting a conviction for Iannuzzi, but both Imma and Calogiuri are still convinced that he is covering for someone.

After the news about Iannuzzi's illness, Vitali asks Imma to take care of the case. Calogiuri shares an excellent insight about the case with Imma and together they continue the investigation.

Mileo is called into Imma's again and this time the truth comes out about his land. Meanwhile, Calogiuri has managed to find Iannuzzi.

According to Imma, Don Mariano had convinced Iannuzzi to tell her about the trips he had made to bury toxic waste. Samuele and Valentina have a conversation about the cooking course he has been invited to participate in. Samuel also gets something off his chest with Deputy Prosecutor Tataranni.

Imma talks about personal things with Samuele and when she returns to the office, Diana updates her on what she has discovered and found about the case.

Vitali interrupts his meeting when Romaniello shows up at the office and makes a suggestion for getting rid of some dead weight in the department.

Imma searches for information about the earthquake of the 1980s and among old newspaper articles, Antonio Scaglione's name appears. She decides to go visit him.

Imma presents herself to Scaglione and tells him everything she knows: what she has discovered and what she suspects about the contaminated lands and Don Mariano's death. She doesn't have proof of what she's saying yet, but she has no intention of stopping.

During the chat with Scaglione, Imma has some questions about his past and a certain name comes up. Later, Imma goes to see an old friend of her mother's, to try to make sense of what she has learned.
