Imma happens to know the judge who was involved in the judicial auctions Calogiuri had found out about. She and Pietro get together with him for a friendly lunch in the country.

Dafne and her father have dinner at the lodge and make conversation. But then they hear some talking in the other room and wonder what's up.

Franca is on tour and gets word about a new song of Mimmo's. She says she doesn't care at all, but it's clear she does.

Imma gets some anonymous information that leads her to more remains. Putting their heads together, Imma and Calogiuri connect some dots, both on a map and figuratively.

Dafne doesn't mince words in criticizing her father, but she is there for him, a sort of anchor. It gets late and they need food and lodging.

Domenico's song Musetto is playing on the radio, and Franca hears it and realizes it's about her. He has dinner with his father who is in town, and some thorny subjects come up.

After talking to Sergio Covaser, Imma and Calogiuri have an idea of who he is. Imma is concerned about her daughter and talks things over with her husband.

Little by little, as they walk and talk, Dafne and her father make discoveries about each other, even deeply personal ones.

Domenico feels misunderstood by his friends. As he walks with his friend Franco, a magazine cover attracts his attention. He goes to see his agent Gramitto, who has some news for him.

Vaccaro's memory is jogged. He mentions the actor in the movie they're making nearby, so Imma and Calogiuri go to the set to have an informal conversation with Sergio Covaser who is on his lunch break.

Dafne and her father are on the train together. She seems happy, he a bit less. They get off and start hiking.

It's coming on Christmas, and Mimmo is strolling through the street market. He spies an old friend who is clearly not doing so well. Domenico has been in that situation many times in the past and doesn't hesitate to "pay it forward."

Not surprisingly, Valentina is furious with her mother. Imma and Calogiuro go back to the beach to question Vaccaro. Not surprisingly, he has no idea who Aida Bashir is.

Dafne finds a little memento that seems to ground her. Her dad is having a hard time, though. The lyrics of the song in the background seem to mirror what's going on in Dafne's head.
