The RAI producers are worried about how the show is being received on the outside. They soon get some answers. Manzi is also worried, not so much about the show, but about his position as a teacher.

Camilla is interviewed by the police, and Mr. Rigas, the man she argued with in line for the bus, comes too. Renzo, who is also present, can't understand why Camilla is so profoundly affected by the event.

Elena tries to keep Luigi from getting too depressed about his situation. He then gets a taste of what his roommates had been telling him about the friar.

Giuseppe goes to see Giorgio in his fancy doctor's office, hoping to convince him to see Cloe. It's clear Giorgio has chosen the career path of least resistance, and seems more interested in fine art and fine cigars, than in treating patients who need it.

Manzi comes up with a creative way to introduce a letter that isn't technically in the Italian alphabet. Now, Manzi is famous and gets a lot of attention even when walking in the park with Ida. She feels a bit left out.

Camilla is teaching her class, but is having trouble masking her distress over her friend. She goes to the police station where the officers have some questions for her.

Amed is worried that the replacement chaplain will come and start talking, and never stop. He'll "press play" and tell stories ad nauseam. But on the good side, Luigi's fever is going down, even though he doesn't feel great.

Elena tries to convince her father that Giuseppe will change after they get married. He remains very skeptical. Giuseppe is spoon-feeding Cloe to give her some nourishment, meanwhile telling her how he decided to become a doctor.

After the first episode of Non è mai troppo tardi, Alberto gets some frank criticism from some of the people he cares about most: Ricotta, and his elementary school class. At RAI headquarters, some concerns have come up related to Alberto's duties as an elementary school teacher.

As Camilla and Dora try to catch a tram, there is a terrible accident, or at least, it looks like an accident. Meanwhile, at home, Renzo seems to be preparing for an evening out without Camilla and is trying to come up with a plausible excuse. You will probably learn the adverb purtroppo (unfortunately) in this segment!

Peppe comes out of the operating room where all seems to have gone well. Luigi has a fever and the doctors are discussing the possible causes and what to do about it. Meanwhile Luigi feels he has to try to get out of bed, to prove to his body that he can.

Cloe really does not want to stay in the hospital and Giuseppe finds a solution, but not everyone is thrilled about it.

The show finally happens. Ida, her family, and neighbors are watching from home, Ricotta is watching from the bar, along with everyone else there, and in the studio, the producers are waiting for Alberto to botch things.

Camilla and Dora take a stroll through the antique market while Renzo is at his daughter's dance performance. He runs into someone he knows.

Giuseppe would like to spend more time with Elena, but at the moment there is too much to do at the hospital. A woman brings a baby to the door of a church to leave it, but she is suddenly taken ill and falls to the ground.
