Imma goes to the land registry office in Ginosa to find out more about Palazzo De Nardis. She manages to obtain some information from the person in charge and goes to see Signora D'Avena.

Lojacono and Di Nardo go to see Biagio's ex-girlfriend to ask her one more question. She happens to remember something that gives them a new lead. They then go and talk to Renato, Biagio's friend and colleague.

Having read about Mattioli's death, Camilla rushes to Berardi's office, where he is checking some documents with Torre. She participates and comes across an interesting piece of information.

Imma interviews De Nardis who tells a good story, not that Matarazzo and Imma are totally convinced, however. And then they go to the bar and find out a bit more about their suspect.

Laura and Lojacono go to Laura's house and she begins cooking dinner. At his hotel, Aragona has a chance to see Irene, the new housemaid, in the dining room and can't take his eyes off her. Francesco brings Giorgia breakfast in bed. It's una graffa (a kind of doughnut).

Renzo comes home late after a meeting and finds Camilla on the couch deep in thought. She lets him know she has been connecting the dots between the postcard and the merengue instructor. She goes off to bed but finds a surprise on the way.

Imma stops by to see her mother, who has been opening all the drawers, creating more work for Nikolaus, her caregiver. Imma and Matarazzo make the trip, on narrow mountain roads, to Ginosa, where De Nardis lives. He invites them in.

At the hotel where Aragona stays, he tries to find out who the new housekeeping person is. Down at the police station, there is news concerning the prostitute Varricchio says he spent time with the night of the murder.

Imma and Calogiuri manage to interview Bizzari who admits a few things about Stella. Diana confesses that even though her husband has come home, it's not any better than before, when he was gone.

Lojacono goes to Letizia's trattoria and tells her about the bad news about the witness. She tries to reassure him but also has a new customer to attend to. Francesco can't let Giorgia go and sleeps in the car in front of her house.

After her trip to the Tiber River, Camilla goes to pick up Livietta at Giulio's house, where the two kids are dancing to Merengue. Camilla has some questions about that. Meanwhile, Berardi and Torre are busy with the coroner, identifying a corpse.

Imma and Matarazzo go to the butcher shop in Grottole and find out some information from both the butcher and a woman seated there. Calogiuri has a little information from the coroner for Imma.

Varricchio is back in the DA's office and tells a different story, admitting he had lied the first time. But is there proof of his new version? At home, Lojacono is shocked by some news he hears on the TV.

The mouse is still an issue at Camilla's house. At police headquarters, Berardi has his hands full with the mother of the murdered detective and Mattioli's wife.

Lombardi shows up for an informal meeting to talk about a building project. Meanwhile, Imma is driven to Grottole by Matarazzo who is going a bit too fast.
