Renzo is at home with Livietta and he is helping her with a project for school. Camilla goes to help Gaetano with the recognition of the centurion, but she will also need Gaetano's help later.

While Barbara is recommended a book about music that she might like, Matteo is encouraged to not follow the rules and keep laughing.

Don Michele tells Lojacono and Di Nardo how he already knew Angela when he was in Caserta. The two shared a secret activity that Locajono wants to know more about.

Imma spends some time with Pietro in the hospital, but once she leaves, she is determined to figure out what the keys found with Don Mariano open, and she goes to ask someone who might know.

Gaetano asks Camilla for help in identifying the centurion who found the girl's body.
At home, Renzo is working for the competition when he receives a proposal.

After the heated confrontation with Marioni, Matteo runs away and goes to the director who shows understanding and suggests that the boy no longer be part of the orchestra. Matteo says he will manage and find another way to vent.

After the benediction, Ottavia stops outside the church to talk to a few of the parishioners. She learns a few new details about Don Michele. Back at headquarters, she does some research and shares the results with her colleagues.

Imma and Calogiuri compare notes on what they have regarding the investigation into Don Mariano's death. The two disagree on how to proceed to the point of losing their patience.

At school, Alex and Aiello are arguing because Aiello wants Alex to delete some photos from his phone, but he doesn't want to. With Camilla's arrival, the argument calms down, but the teacher would like to understand why Aiello got so upset.

Maestro Marioni asks Matteo what he wants to do with his life in music and is not satisfied with the answer he receives. The teacher, with his passionate tone, urges Matteo and encourages him not only to try but to do something more.

Both Lojacono with Laura and Martone with Alex are living their stories in secret. The feelings seem sincere and the difficulties real. In the church, Don Michele asks the faithful to make an effort to help the investigation into Angela's death.

Calogiuri is sharing useful information with Imma to discover something about Don Mariano's death when Diana enters to communicate that she has found what Imma had asked her to look for.

While the investigations continue, Renzo has an unpleasant surprise that undermines his peace of mind as a husband, and even a competition he must participate in doesn't give him peace.
