Renzo finally returns home with bad news. Despite the compliments he received, the highly-connected candidate won. Gaetano, while at home with his girlfriend, receives a message from Camilla, and jealousy takes over.

Matteo is about to leave the rehearsal after his argument with Marioni. Irene is there in the auditorium, having learned about the warning to Marioni, and wants to be there for him. He asks her to stick around.

And finally Borghese announces the verdict. Which team will be the winner? JAMS or The Best?

At the police station, everyone is concentrated on the intercepted phone call to the Borrelli household. They discuss whether the speaker was Italian, whether he was reading, or whether it was a recording.

Berardi and Torre ask Tucci for information about the victim's dating history, but the person with whom the woman had a date cannot be traced. Susanna admits to being in love with Nico, while Camilla is worried about Renzo.

Matteo stays to play his solo for Marioni, who makes him play without looking at the music. Outside, the others in his group discuss how long they think he will endure Marioni's harsh treatment.

Chef Borghese tastes and carefully evaluates the main courses and goes on to the desserts, where he runs into some surprises. It is a very close race!

After asking Dodo's father some questions, Palma and Lojacono advise him to be cooperative for the sake of the investigation and the child. Meanwhile, there is some new information about the gardener.

Camilla and Susanna are at the marriage agency, when the school principal shows up, without an appointment, to see Dr. Tucci. But Berardi and Torre show up, as well.

Sara offers to walk Chiara home, and the two have a conversation about how it feels to be visually impaired. At the rehearsal, Marioni expresses his frustration with orchestra's lack of passion in their playing and discusses the significance of performing the Unfinished Symphony.

Chef Borghese begins to judge the dishes of the two teams, JAMS and The Best. It's a close contest and the kids are very nervous.

Dodo's mother and her new partner try to identify the hooded person the boy walked off with. The boy's father is also questioned.

Before class, the students in class are excited about the coming beauty contest and keep taking photos. Camilla is having trouble reaching Renzo and trouble with her car, too. Fortunately, Susy comes to her rescue.

Marioni is summoned by the principal because he received a warning from Giacomo's parents who hold him responsible for what happened to their son. During rehearsals, the maestro discovers someone who shouldn't be in the hall.

The JAMS arrive at school in a rush, where the awards ceremony is already underway. Chef Borghese has just awarded the trophy but asks the winners if they would rather win by challenging the JAMS. Oscar, as captain, decides to continue the competition and they begin.
