JAMS is a TV series for teenagers produced by "Stand by me" for RAI Gulp. The protagonists are four kids: Joy, Alice, Max, and Stefano, each with their own passions and strengths, and each with their particular challenges. They are all in their first year of scuola media (middle school), thus undertaking the difficult transition from childhood towards adulthood.

After Stefano's decision to leave JAMS, the kids risk losing the contest finals. Alice is upset, but Max tries to calm her down by telling her that everything will be fine.

During the lesson on main courses, Joy seems very distracted and Alice thinks it's because of Stefano. JAMS seems to be in real trouble now that not even Max has shown up.

Alice asks Joy to try to talk to Stefano since she likes him, but he's not responding to messages anymore. For the contest, JAMS still needs a recipe, and Davide steps in to lend a hand.

There was an unexpected twist in the second-course challenge and the results disappointed some of the contestants. Remaining would be the dessert competition, to determine which group would go to the finals. At home, Joy encounters Ettore.

When Joy shuts herself in her room, her mother joins her to talk. At that moment, Max calls to warn Joy that Stefano has run away, and the girl rushes to the park to meet the others and figure out what to do.
