Oriana Fallaci, the first female Italian war correspondent, was born in Florence in 1929. Despite her young age, she was a partisan during World War II. This film by Marco Turco, starring Vittoria Puccini, tells Oriana’s story as she travels the world, together with photographer, Duilio Pallottelli, to write about women and other controversial topics, including the Vietnam war. Both loved and hated for her radical positions, she fought for what she believed in and became famous worldwide for her coverage of war and revolution, and her aggressive and revealing interviews with many world leaders from the 1960s onward.
