After talking to Sergio Covaser, Imma and Calogiuri have an idea of who he is. Imma is concerned about her daughter and talks things over with her husband.

Imma gets some anonymous information that leads her to more remains. Putting their heads together, Imma and Calogiuri connect some dots, both on a map and figuratively.

Imma happens to know the judge who was involved in the judicial auctions Calogiuri had found out about. She and Pietro get together with him for a friendly lunch in the country.

Calogiuri has done some research about the Paradise Farm, run by Saverio Romaniello's non-profit organization. Imma makes a surprise visit to Romaniello and subtly lets him know how much she knows about him.

During the bus ride, Imma sees someone with a familiar-looking tattoo and finds out where it came from. They arrive at Pietro's mother's house, where they need to make introductions, since Imma's mother doesn't recognize anyone.

Imma gets some important information from the beautician. Back at her in-laws' house, Imma tries to remove the tattoo, and Pietro is helping his mother in the kitchen. Calogiuri calls with some new information, which Imma wants to act on right away.

Imma convinces Nunzia to talk. And she has plenty to say. Imma and Calogiuri discuss the case as they go to the supermarket for groceries, since the next day, all the shops will be closed.

It's the eve of Ferragosto, the big August holiday. Imma has her mind on work, but in the midst of the dinner table chatter, she turns her attention to her daughter, Valentina, who is still not speaking to her.

Thanks to Imma and her team, Staffieri is arrested. Romaniello goes to Nunzia's house with Imma to ask forgiveness.

Leila can barely open her eyes or speak, but she understands what Imma is asking her, and manages to tell her about what happened to Aida.

Leila's story identified the killer but can't be used as evidence. Imma and Calogiuri go to the beach club to look for Vaccaro.

Imma calls Romaniello in and tells him her version of the story.

Romaniello opens up to Imma and shows his true colors. Imma takes her mom home, but the apartment seems unfamiliar to her with its modern conveniences like a TV, and running water.

Imma is back in the office and so is her talkative assistant, Diana. Imma's boss comes in with some papers. Who knows? Now that summer is almost over, maybe Imma will find some time to relax.

We begin a new episode, where Valentina is at school, learning about politics and toxic waste.
