Giorgio is getting settled in his new office and gets an unexpected and unwelcome visitor. Giuseppe has a big evening ahead of him with Elena and her father, but he gets some news he has to take care of and is delayed.

Rita Levi Montalcini doesn't feel like she made any sacrifices in her life, including not having a family. She had a clear vision of what she wanted out of life, and she followed it.

Alberto goes home to share the news with his family. They're watching TV and ignore him, which tells him all he needs to know. The next day he goes to the RAI studios, where he finds a whole different world.

Vera and Giuliano are each true fans of the other. But Vera can't help preferring Giuliano's directing artistry to his acting skills.

There's a press conference announcing the success of the investigation. Rather than singling out Lojacono and Aragona, Palma gives credit to his entire team, as well as to Dr. Piras.

Luckily, Viola is out of danger. Her father is by her side at the hospital but Inspector Berardi needs to talk to her alone. Camilla and Viola's father have a conversation out in the hall, to give Berardi and Viola some privacy. A little later, Vittorio comes to see Viola, talking first with his teacher.

Alice stops by the house and is able to give some support to Maria who is really missing her mother. At the clinic, Renata and her husband meet with the doctors.

After being left by the taxi driver, Giuseppe goes in search of the Esposito home. The taxi driver was right about the danger. Meanwhile, Giorgio shows up at the dinner and greets Elena and her father.

After winning the Nobel prize, Rita Levi-Montalcini was not as shy as she had been prior to that moment. Because she stood out as a woman in a "man's world," she was able to use her unique position to make her mark, not only in the science world, but in society.
