Lojacono, Aragona, and DA Piras go back to the crime scene to have a better look at the victim's collection of glass balls. The DA and Lojacono exchange ideas about the murder, but then he and Aragona have to go back to the station house.

Moscati has to prove himself at the exam, to demonstrate whether he is just presumptuous or can back it up by knowing what to do with the patient before him. His friend Piromallo waits for him outside, meanwhile.

The "burglary gone wrong" is in the news and is not reflecting well on the city of Naples. The commissioner has summoned Palma and Lojacono to talk about this and makes a surprising decision.

Giuseppe and Elena exchange a few words during the dance, but then he goes home to study. The next day, at the exam, his friend is having a hard time.

Two medical students at the University of Naples leave the library and race through town down to the beach. At the Cajafa palace, Princess Elena is called to her father's study where they discuss the ball to take place that evening.

Commissioner Palma is quite angry with Lojacono for disobeying his express orders not to handle any homicides. Meanwhile, a call comes in from a peculiar old lady and two agents go to check out her story.

Fulvio shows us one of the most enigmatic monuments of all Rome, the Pantheon. He gives us some history, some interesting facts, and a legend, as well.

Lojacono has a careful look at the corpse and the surrounding area and draws some conclusions. His superior shows up and naturally wants to put Lojacono in his place, sending him right back to the station house, with the district attorney looking on.
