Rosario chooses to avoid the encounter with his birth mother, so he makes up an excuse and returns to school. Meanwhile, at the orchestra rehearsal, Marioni puts Sara to the test, but she is determined not to give up.

Matteo and his classmates, during the break, get together to root for Sara in the hope that she manages to convince Marioni to let her play with them in the orchestra. Rosario, on the other hand, is agitated, and it doesn't escape the notice of his friends or his percussion teacher.

In class, Barbara recites a Petrarch sonnet, proving to be much further ahead than her classmates in the curriculum. In reaction, the teacher decides to assign double the homework for all her students. Meanwhile, Sara continues her battle, trying to convince Marioni to give her the chance to play. Irene becomes furious with Luca when she discovers that he is obsessively following and controlling Marco, while she does busy work in a shop to distract herself from her own thoughts. Meanwhile, Barbara arrives at the new school and Sara goes to the school director with a particular request.

Barbara and her mother appear decidedly more serene, and Barbara seems ready to start over. Meanwhile, at Rosario's house, his parents try to reassure him in anticipation of the meeting with his birth mother.

Finally Max manages to get Alice into the Bistrot where the surprise party had been organized. After the party, Max meets Michelino who explains who the lawyer is and what happened to the cake.

In her rush to leave her father's friend's apartment, Joy forgets to take the cake for Alice's party. While trying to figure out what to do with Stefano, Alice's parents arrive.

Stefano and Joy prepare the cake for Alice while Max makes sure that Joy has had some ideas to invite both of the birthday girl's parents. When Max takes Alice to the amusement park, she notices something strange.

Ending this episode, Rosario's parents tell him his birth mother wants to meet him. Marioni relives an important moment from his past.

The concert isn't over yet but Daniele's boyfriend wants to leave since Matteo has already played.

The concert is over and maestro Fiore feels betrayed by the orchestra members. Almost everyone has moved on, but Marioni manages to stop Robbo, entrusting him with the task of relaying his words to the others.

Barbara tells her mother some of the things she has been holding back. It's also time for Matteo to play his solo.

Before the concert, Maestro Fiore has another strange idea for the members of the orchestra. Matteo is nervous, and Domenico gives him some advice. Barbara confronts her mother.

It's the evening of the concert, and everyone is nervous, not only the musicians. While the final preparations are in full swing, Barbara shows up, Maestro Fiore has some bizarre ideas for motivating his orchestra members, and Matteo makes a surprising move.

Preparations are underway for the big concert with maestro Fiore. Domenico accompanies Matteo to choose a special jacket while Clelia says she's excited to see Rosario all dressed up.
