Interview with Walter Caporale, national president of Animalisti Italiani [Italian Association for the Rights of Animals], whose mission is safeguarding the life of domestic animals and the prevention of cruelty towards them.

We continue the discussion on animal rights, asking the question why dogs and cats, among other animals, have to suffer injustices from humans, solely because they're too weak to defend themselves. The atrocity of religious ritual exemptions to animal dazing before slaughter are also discussed.

In this video the focus continues to be on the religious slaughter of animals without stunning them first and the absurdity of the Italian law that allows it. The underlying message is that animals, as living beings, have the right to their own dignity.

Back in the days when people traveled on horseback, Al Biondo Tevere was a convenient rest stop just outside the walls of the city. People would feed and water their horses, and trade what was in their bundles of food with their fellow travelers. Armando begins describing the structure of his book, and talks about how he envisions a kind of journey, beginning in the far reaches of the universe, down to the tiny details of a flower.

In this segment, describing chapters 3 - 6, we can imagine storms, volcanoes, oceans, and mountains in Armando's photographs.

In chapter. 7, Armando describes how, to him, his images represent vegetation, woodlands, trees, and flowers.

Not only are Armando's photographs reminiscent of the universe and nature — they also recall other works of art from history.

Armando talks about how the works of Duchamp influenced his work and that of so many contemporary artists. The choice of a unique exhibition hall played a part, as well.
