Imma rushes to join her husband and daughter on the small terrace to watch the Bruna festival, and at that moment she receives a confirmation message. Meanwhile, Valentina goes to greet Samuel who confesses a secret.

The day of the Bruna festival has arrived, but Imma and Calogiuri are finishing up their work. Once finished, Calogiuri expresses to Imma everything he thinks and feels, much to Imma's surprise, who thought he was a man of few words.

Imma summarizes with Calogiuri how things went regarding Don Mariano's death and, reconstructing the events, decides to send some notices to those involved.

Imma receives a package containing Don Mariano's tablet. The note accompanying it says that inside are all the evidence that Don Mariano had collected. The sender is overcome with guilt and when Calogiuri reaches him, it's already too late.

Imma presents herself to Scaglione and tells him everything she knows, what she has discovered and what she suspects about the contaminated lands and Don Mariano's death. She doesn't have proof of what she's saying yet, but she has no intention of stopping.

Imma goes to search for information about the earthquake of the 1980s and among the newspaper articles, Antonio Scaglione's name appears. She therefore decides to go visit him and have him tell her about some things.

Vitali interrupts his appointment when Romaniello shows up at the office and, without beating around the bush, asks him to consider the possibility of Imma being transferred.

Imma makes sure that Samuele won't make Valentina suffer, and when she returns to the office, Diana updates her on what she has discovered and found about the case. Imma lets her know that she is aware of her personal situation and is on her side.

According to Imma, Don Mariano had convinced Iannuzzi to tell her about the trips he made to bury toxic waste. But there were other things that Don Mariano had done that concerned Samuel.

Finally Max manages to get Alice into the Bistrot where the surprise party had been organized. After the party, Max meets Michelino who explains who the lawyer is and what happened to the cake.

Imma talks to Mileo who finally confesses the truth about his lands. Meanwhile, Calogiuri has managed to find Iannuzzi but things aren't going well.

In her rush to leave her father's friend's apartment, Joy forgets to take the cake for Alice's party. While trying to figure out what to do with Stefano, Alice's parents arrive.

After the news about Iannuzzi's illness, Vitali asks Imma to take care of the case. Calogiuri shares an excellent insight about the case with Imma and together they continue the investigation.

Vitali appears before the judge requesting a conviction for Iannuzzi, but both Imma and Calogiuri are still convinced that he is covering for someone.
During the sentencing, news arrives that Iannuzzi has escaped.

Stefano and Joy prepare the cake for Alice while Max makes sure that Joy has had some ideas to invite both of the birthday girl's parents. When Max takes Alice to the amusement park, she notices something strange.
