Renzo finally returns home with bad news. Despite the compliments he received, the highly-connected candidate won. Gaetano, while at home with his girlfriend, receives a message from Camilla, and jealousy takes over.

Torre and Berardi are finishing questioning the man who was hospitalized on the day of the restorer's death, when Camilla arrives. Renzo returns to the office and receives an unwelcome reception from his team.

Gaetano wants to question Susi, and Camilla asks to be present. When her colleague answers a certain question, Camilla is a bit disconcerted. At work, Renzo advises a couple of clients to change architects for reasons of taste.

Camilla goes to see Renzo whose clients have left him, in addition to his assistants. She tries to comfort him without success. Gaetano returns home to his insecure fiancée.

Renzo is still very depressed about work and the blackbird is getting on his nerves. To complete the picture, Camilla's mother shows up and says she will stay with them for a few days.
