The team at Pizzofalone are back in full force. And there is a crime to investigate in the middle of the night.

The pizza party ends up just being Palma and Ottavia who make the best of it. Palma would like them to be on a first-name basis, but he is Ottavia's boss and she has trouble with that. He talks about dare del tu, which means addressing someone informally instead of dare del Lei, which implies addressing someone formally. It can still mean using someone's first name, but the pronouns (and conjugations) change.

After working on the case together, the members of the team go home to deal with their personal lives. Not everyone is enthusiastic about going out for pizza with the chief.

There's a press conference announcing the success of the investigation. Rather than singling out Lojacono and Aragona, Palma gives credit to his entire team, as well as to Dr. Piras.

Lojacono and Aragona, with De Lucia's recounting, are able to reconstruct the murder. We then learn what was written in the letter the notary's wife sent to him.

Having discovered who bought the glass globe, Lojacono and Aragona could easily figure out who had killed the notary's wife. They go to see the suspect.

The pressure is on Palma, and consequently on his team, to solve the murder alla svelta (quickly), but they haven't gotten very far. They are still in alto mare (a long way away).

Lojacono has a conversation with Iolanda Russo and learns some new details. Later he has a meeting with his superiors.

We get a glimpse of Francesco's home life in this segment. He has a lot of pent-up anger and doesn't have it very well under control. Lojacono and Aragona are following Miss Russo and have a little conversation about patience.

Forensics recovers an email that opens up some new avenues in the investigation. Lojacono and Aragona go see the notary at his workplace. Di Nardo's parents want to meet her boyfriend.

Pisanelli goes to see Friar Leonardo and remarks how peaceful it is there in the cloister. Lojacono and Aragona go to see the head of Forensics and learn some new details about the evidence.

After work, Aragona and Lojacono walk towards their respective homes together. Aragona says he is home, but is he? Pisanello goes home and makes tea, all the while telling someone (probably his wife?)about his day. Lojacono goes home and gets a phonecall from a certain Sonia...

Alex goes to see Nunzia by herself, to see if she can help her, but she gets an unexpected reaction from the girl.

Di Nardo and Romano go to see Nunzia's mother. She and her two sons are surprised by the visit and are on the defensive but one name keeps coming up as the policemen question them. At headquarters, Pisanello is studying a series of alleged suicides he is suspicious about.
