JAMS is a TV series for teenagers produced by "Stand by me" for RAI Gulp. The protagonists are four kids: Joy, Alice, Max, and Stefano, each with their own passions and strengths, and each with their particular challenges. They are all in their first year of scuola media (middle school), thus undertaking the difficult transition from childhood towards adulthood.

After Stefano returned with the Jams, things seem to have gone back to normal. Alice reflects on the fact that their age isn't an easy one because there are many changes. Some beautiful, others less so.

At school, Stefano has good news, but then, class begins. The teacher asks the students to observe what's outside the window and express what they see and feel through drawing. She is particularly struck by a couple of drawings, albeit for different reasons.

For the finals, there will be an exceptional guest, a famous chef, and the kids are beside themselves with excitement. JAMS needs to go up in the rankings, and Melissa's team changes their approach to winning.

Stefano and Joy prepare the cake for Alice and Max makes sure Joy has some ideas for inviting both of the birthday girl's parents. When Max takes Alice to the amusement park, she notices something strange.

Max and Alice are at the amusement park and want to go on a ride, but the place looks deserted. Everything is ready at the bistrot except for the cake, which Joy should be bringing. On the way to the party, she runs into her little friend on his bike.

Ettore wants to make sure Joy isn't talking to her parents about him and uses bullying words with her. She manages to get away and goes to the bistro to meet Stefano. Alice's parents arrive and are shocked to see each other.

Finally Max manages to get Alice into the Bistro where the surprise party had been organized. After the party, Max meets up with Michelino who mentions the cake left at the lawyer's house.

After Alice's surprise birthday party, she and Max share their "monthiversary" and want to tell the story of how they helped Joy.

At school, the teacher talks about bullying and after the lesson, Alice invites Joy to have something to drink. They talk about the party, Alice's parents, and the cake...

Alice returns home and is sad and very worried about Joy. She tells her mother about the forgotten cake and what she learned from Michelino. Her mother calls Joy's mother.

Joy is not going to school and is not responding to phone calls anymore. Melissa seems happy to know that the JAMS will be in trouble at the competition, but the kids want to give it their all. Meanwhile, Joy is being helped by her parents.

We are at the finals of the cooking contest, the dessert competition, and both JAMS and The Best have a new captain. Joy talks to the therapist about how much she likes cooking, but drawing, not so much.

Joy begins to open up with the therapist, while her team members are dealing with a race against time at the contest. At the end of the competition, the professor starts handing out grades.

New captains, absences, and tensions liven up the competition. The four desserts are being judged, deciding who will go on to the finals. Afterward, the JAMS make a video for Joy to share the results with her.
