The Tiber Island is a charming quarter of Rome, especially in the summer, because the small bars, restaurants, discos and particularly the open-air movie theater make it an ideal spot for spending a nice evening.

This segment takes place in Pigneto, a Rome neighborhood, which hosts a "Mercatino del Pigneto," or flea market, where used items, collectibles, and crafts are sold. Here you'll find everything and at reasonable prices.

Mount Vesuvius is a stratovolcano on the Bay of Naples, in Campania, Italy, just inland from the coast of the Gulf of Naples. Vesuvius is about 1281 meters high and is well worth visiting. Reachable by shuttle from the station, it offers tranquility and seabeds perfect for snorkeling. A corner of authentic nature, ideal for those seeking peace and wild beauty.

Marika went with a friend of hers to Capalbio and tells us what she saw. A village suspended between sea and hills, where time seems to slow down. The medieval walls embrace stone streets, and the Maremma wind carries the echo of the sea and the past.

To take a break from the hustle and bustle of Rome, there is a place waiting for you, just 40 minutes away, where horses and cows graze in the wild, and where there is plenty of interesting flora and fauna to observe: The Sorbo Valley.

The Villa San Marco is an amazingly well-preserved luxury villa from the Augustan period, with a wonderful panoramic view of Vesuvius and the gulf of Naples. Marika shows us around the four nuclei of the villa.

In 1749, King Charles of Bourbon (Charles III of Spain) or Carlo Terzo di Borbone, who was King of Naples at the time, commissioned an important campaign of archeological digs in an area near that city. Marika tells us the story.

In Venice, the concept of "streets" and "roads" is totally different from most other places in Italy, so there are some new words to learn that apply almost exclusively to this wonderful city. Marika does some show and tell to help us get the picture.
