Antonio, figlio di Guido Crepax, racconta del giorno in cui Antonio Custra fu ucciso nel maggio del 1977, durante una manifestazione armata a Milano. Si trattava dei cosiddetti anni di piombo, un periodo di agitazione sociale, violenza politica e sconvolgimenti durato dalla fine degli anni Sessanta alla fine degli anni Ottanta, segnato da un'ondata di episodi di terrorismo politico e di scontri violenti sia di estrema sinistra che di estrema destra. Molti manifestanti furono arrestati, ma Antonio Crepax riuscì a non farsi caricare su furgone della polizia.
