Palma and the team have just forty-eight hours to find Varicchio, the father of the two victims. Meanwhile, Palma has to buy furniture, Lojacono meets up with the DA, and Alex comes home late to an angry father.

From the results of the autopsy, there are no signs of rape, indicating that the scene was staged. Lojacono and Alex go to talk to Biagio's ex-girlfriend.

When Lojacono gets home, he gets a video call from Marinella who has heard about the murder and is upset. The next day, Lojacono and Di Nardo go looking for Grazia's boyfriend at his workplace, hoping to get some useful information.

Lojacono and the others are at the scene of the crime trying to figure out how the murders happened. Back at headquarters, Palma receives more information about the family of the two victims. Later, Lojacono runs into Chanel on the street.
