Palma and Lojacono have summoned Mauro Carullo to ask him a couple of questions. Later, the police are back at the Borrelli residence, to listen to the recording of the phone call again in hopes of someone recognizing the voice.

Lojacono and Aragona go to talk with Dodo's grandfather, Mr. Borrelli, who proves to be somewhat arrogant. Alex tells his parents that she has found a place to rent for herself, but they don't take it well.

Pisanello returns home after being hospitalized but still can't stop thinking about Musella's death, which was filed as suicide. Alex, after the argument with her father, takes refuge at Rosaria's place.

Twenty-four hours after the first phone call, there is still no news about the kidnapped child. To avoid sitting idle, Giuseppe and Alex meet with Mrs. Parascandolo to learn more about the theft.

The kidnappers demanded a very high ransom and the police decided to summon all the child's close relatives to ensure no one takes independent action. The situation is definitely heating up.

Fingerprints left in the Parascandolo apartment have finally been identified. Di Nardo and Lojacono quickly go to pay a visit to Mrs. Parascandolo, who has some interesting things to say on the subject.

Giuseppe goes to see Laura to watch the kidnapping footage again. Palma accompanies Ottavia home with a special gift for Riccardo.

Dodo knows the woman who is holding him prisoner and even though he has a fever, he asks her when his father will come to free them. Meanwhile, Laura and Lojacono try to figure out who the woman in the video could be.

Finally the suspect has a name. At the police station the atmosphere is tense but everyone is ready to move to track down Lena and her accomplice. Meanwhile, another urgency looms: getting their hands on Parascandolo's husband, guilty of loan sharking.

Lojacono celebrates Christmas with Letizia, in a serene atmosphere of intimacy. Piras, on the other hand, is home alone, while Pisanelli receives an unexpected visit from Brother Leonardo. Dodo is alone and misses his mom.

Alex, after leaving her parents' house, rushes to Rosaria's house. At the police station, the search is actively underway to find Lena Miroslava.

Aragona and Romano go to the address of the two kidnapping suspects, but they aren't there. At the police station, during the reconstruction of the investigation, a comment from Romano and evidence brought by Alex reveal new decisive elements.

Finally the father of little Dodo reveals the whole truth about the organization of the kidnapping but confesses that he doesn't know where his son is and asks for help to find him.

Pisanelli got ahead of Lojacono's team by entering the Intrasit warehouse before the others. When they all arrive, they recognize his car.

The news that the kidnappers managed to escape taking little Dodo with them is spreading rapidly. While Lojacono is following the updates on television, his daughter surprises him with a visit.
