Karma plays an important role in this comedy, where Giacomo, the rich but naive heir of a wealthy industrialist, played by Fabio De Luigi, comes to believe he has found his reincarnated father in the unlikely person of Mario. Played by the popular Italian actor Elio Germano, Mario is a sleazy con man with money problems. Stefania Sandrelli also features as Giacomo's mother.
