Romano, very worried, accompanies the little girl found abandoned next to the dumpster in the ambulance. Meanwhile, while Lojacono and Alex patrol the neighborhood, at the hospital the doctors immediately get to work to provide first aid to the little one.

Romano stays in the hospital to monitor the condition of the newborn found in the dumpster. During the visit, the doctor asks him to choose a name for the little girl. Meanwhile, Pisanelli goes to see Don Salvatore, hoping to get some details about the case from him.

Procedures are immediately triggered and officer Di Nardo reports the discovery, launching the investigation.

The death of the young Ukrainian woman, who had just become a mother, raises many questions: the identity of a rescued child, a possible blood relationship and the evident signs of a murder. Between DNA tests and professional tensions, they attempt to reconstruct the story.

The investigations are only at the beginning and the autopsy results are not yet available. For now it emerges that there are no signs of struggle and that the girl was caught by surprise. Meanwhile, at home, Giuseppe and Laura rediscover their complicity.

Mrs. Nubila retraces what she knows about Lara, the young woman welcomed with almost filial affection into her family. However, the fragile balance of her life is shattered by her husband's sudden return. Di Nardo and Lojacono reveal to her an aspect of Lara's story that the woman was unaware of.

Between interrogations, conflicting leads and multiplying suspicions, secrets emerge linked to the victim and their private life. Meanwhile Romano faces the weight of his own guilt and the violence he committed but is called back to a sense of responsibility by the group.

Rosaria appears very impressed by Alex's new house and, between one compliment and another, updates her partner on the latest developments in the investigation. Meanwhile Lojacono goes to the restaurant to see Letizia, who welcomes him by offering a rich and inviting selection of typical Neapolitan dishes.

A mysterious phone call casts Lojacono into shadow: a stranger from Agrigento hints at an unpaid mortgage and lets slip a veiled threat.
Meanwhile, Romano focuses all his anguish on little Giorgia. Between fear and hope, the doctors try to reassure him about the child's condition.
