Who is born round...won't die square. That's the way it is for Grandma Italia, after a lifetime of petty thefts and trips to the slammer, she skips out of the nursing home. Not without, however, having first cracked the main office's safe. Her grandson Mario has to find her as soon as possible.

The Youngest Son, written and directed by the director Pupi Avati, was released in 2010. The main character, Luciano Baietti (Christian De Sica), is an entrepreneur without scruples. In order to succeed, he will stop at nothing, and this includes using his youngest son Baldo (Nicola Nocella).

In this scene from the 1960 film He Who Stops Is Lost. Totò plays the part of Antonio Guardalvecchia, and attempts to court Giulia. She's the sister of the president, and he courts her in order to get a job in the head office. The scene on the balcony recalls Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

The two night workers take the cash and want to look around to take some measurements. Riccardo is shocked to see all the cash and asks Eleonora about it. Iolde is waiting for Michele, ready to have a glass of wine with him.

Mario apologizes to the group and they decide to take up Michele's original solution, the night business. Iolde seems eager to develop romantic relations with Michele and comes on a little strong.

Having heard about the money from Chiara, Eleonora goes to see Michele to confront him on the issue. She feels he is leading Chiara astray.

Mario has invited his friends from the co-op to lunch, where he tries to work out a deal with them to clean up the property. Eleonora sees Chiara putting something in her top drawer and is curious.

Chiara goes to pick up Michele's jacket for him. At the Nest, there is an assembly to vote on Michele's proposal.

Michele's daughter brings him coffee and he asks her for a favor. Later, at the assembly, the subject of pollution comes up and there is plenty of arguing.

It is Michele's last night at the Nest (according to him), and he goes to say goodbye to some of the residents. Then he goes to dinner at his daughter's place so he can meet her new boyfriend.

Eleonora surprises Michele at the computer, where he shouldn't be. He is sure he will be leaving the Nest very soon and starts packing.

Pasquale, who works for Michele, has managed to find some information favorable to Michele's case. Nicoletta finds out about the "night business" and asks Michele for some explanations.

Michele is looking for a way to participate in the activities of the Nest. Iolda is the person he has to talk to about it.

Michele finishes explaining what actually happened in prison. Later, his ex-wife and partner talk to Michele about the situation regarding the inquinamento (pollution) of the land the Nest is built on. Michele might have just the right know-how to be of help.

At Iolde's birthday party, there are some unusual gifts for her. Michele, quite drunk, clarifies some misunderstandings about his time in prison.

Chiara's phone was found, but Chiara is still missing. Riccardo asks a favor of Michele and then goes looking for Chiara. Meanwhile, there seem to be bugs all over the place, and Michele's conversation is being listened to without his knowledge by law enforcement.

Michele has breakfast in the communal kitchen and strikes up a conversation with Lapo. Eleonora has a chat with JJ in his office, but gets interrupted by a phone call she has to deal with.

Michele is making nice with Eleonora because he needs a favor. She knows him all too well and says no. Chiara is talking to her friend Valentina about her father's experience in prison.

Martina and Giovanni invite Chiara to stay strong, and it seems it regards her father. Michele is trying to relax when Iolde shows up with her water and vinegar drink.

Over breakfast, Riccardo and Eleonora discuss some environmental test results they are expecting, but are interrupted by Chiara and have to fudge. They also get some other worrisome news from Nicoletta.

The assembly takes place and everyone votes. Then there are discussions about other matters. Michele goes back to his room where he gets a visit.

Unexpectedly, just about everyone shows up for the assembly, where there is to be a vote to Michele as part of the group or not.

Michele goes to see his daughter in her quarters. He then goes around trying to assure some positive votes for the evening assembly.

Nicoletta shows Michele around but he is less than impressed. His attitude and reputation aren't going to be much help to him when they vote him in or out that evening. Michele's lawyer comes to see him.
