La tempesta (The Storm) is a romantic comedy produced by Rai Fiction. The story is set in Treviso, near Venice, in the well-known Tognana porcelain tableware plant. Two brothers inherit the plant, but are complete opposites. With the disappearance of Aldo Del Serio, the responsible brother, ​Paolo takes the reins at the factory. Paolo is a girl-chasing, do-nothing guy and aside from running Tognana, he has to act as a parent to the feisty Belarus orphan that his brother had just adopted. He couldn't do this without Manuela, his love interest and a worker at the factory.
